Besides the hospital scene later in the book, ligeguard was a very quiet book. Also, the MC is very annoyin I don’t think this book was that bad.
Pilot is just incredibly dreamy and I found myself letting go of quite a few squees. She is handed a volunteer job at the hospital and she sees a little boy seriously injured and she feels so badly for him, that she must do something to fix him. Plus he’s mysterious and reserved, but he is always there to save Sirena whenever she needs saving, or even just a ride. There was no good romance and even though the Lifeguafd didn’t bother me to much the whole story line did. The story is very underdeveloped.

It feels rushed and therefore there is no real build up. I can’t stand books that are more description than dialogue and this was one of those books. I blumentyal the way the writer was able to pull me into this book. She was an intellectual bimbo, which was unfortunate and made my brain hurt. I was expecting a light hearted romp about hanging out on the beach and crushing on the lifeguard, but what I got instead was a book with a mystery, life and death, love and loss and blukenthal little bit of the paranormal.

While her parents deal with their divorce, they send Sirena to her aunt in Rhode Island. It was just a nice, short novel about the hardships in life and how you grow up as you least expect it. I also enjoyed every thf character written for this story. He keeps himself apart from everyone and in turn has become the guardian of everyone.
There are adventures, near-death experiences hey, the hero is a lifeguarda terribly attractive hero, older and wiser adults with solid words to say to a young lady, and even a great dog. Sirena’s life it falling apart, at least she thinks so.
At the urging of her Aunt Ellie, Sirena also starts volunteering at the local hospital thinking the routine will be good for her. It was very good in an inspirational way. In this book, romance was not the key point in the plot and I still loved it. The beginning started off really well. A smile rises in my throat.
